All OOH is done using local coop (DMS), during the year experience is
gained initially accompanying GPs from the practice, then undertaking
supervised OOH work and later in the year working with distant
support. All as experience and confidence building. |

The Practice is completely computerised - medical records are no
longer used. Heanor is a small town situated approximately 10 miles
from Derby and has a local 28 bed unit which is run by the GPs.
The Practice is highly committed to the training of Registrars,
Undergraduates and PRHOs. |
