Derby has a population of over 200,000. It is a vibrant
university city but still manages to retain the traditional
character of a county town.
The Peak District is 20 minutes away (15 if Andy is driving) and
Nottingham is 20 minutes away. Trains to London take less than 2
hours.
Facilities for sport, leisure and the Arts are extremely
well catered for.

surrounding villages.
