Hospital Job Placements
The Derby GP Specialty Training Programme enjoys very enthusiastic support from the
Consultants involved in the hospital aspect of the training.
This is demonstrated well by their active involvement in the
Half Day Release Training Course. The Course Organisers and
Consultants work together and strive constantly to improve the
already high standard of education offered by the hospital
posts.
From August 2007 all our SHO (ST1 & ST2) posts
will be four months duration.
To receive a CCT (Certificate of
Completion of Training) at the end of your training, your
training programme has to be approved by the training board (PMETB).
All Derby GP Training
programmes have been approved by PMETB. This means that
individual posts are non transferable between programmes. A programme in its entirety is approved.
